0:09
good morning and welcome to my Vlog my
0:11
name is Kevin and today we are heading
0:13
to Disney's Hollywood Studios with our
0:16
three-year-old toddler it's just gonna
0:17
be me CJ and Noah and we're hoping that
0:20
we're going to have a great day today so
0:22
my plan is to kind of just bring you
0:24
guys along and show you guys what that
0:25
looks like try to enjoy as many rides as
0:27
we can show you all of the rides that a
0:30
three-year-old can get on we always set
0:32
up for the Disney plus experience so
0:34
that you'll know what we're doing like
0:36
when we're like getting on the rise and
0:37
how we're going about timing our first
0:39
ride is scheduled between 10 a.m and 11
0:42
A.M it's 9 30 a.m so we're gonna try to
0:44
get there by 10 o'clock so that we can
0:46
get to our first ride or experience
0:48
between 10 and 11. I haven't even gotten
0:51
no address yet he's all ready to go but
0:53
the last thing I'll always do is put his
0:55
clothes on because as you know with
0:56
toddlers they will mess up their clothes
0:58
in five minutes before you can even get
0:59
out the house so this is what I'm
1:00
wearing today I had originally planned
1:02
to wear this Mickey jersey shirt with
1:06
some red jean shorts it's a really thin
1:10
like Jersey material and instead of the
1:12
red jean shorts I'm wearing these
1:14
spandex like thin spandex material biker
1:17
shorts that I picked up from the Disney
1:18
character warehouse at the Vineland
1:20
Outlet so this is what I'm going to be
1:21
wearing today it's long enough that it
1:24
covers my backside so I think this will
1:26
be perfect hi hi
1:29
are you ready to go
1:31
where are we going
1:36
yeah we are going to Disney World who do
1:39
you want to go see
1:42
Mickey Mouse who else
1:51
Mickey and Donald yeah we made it to
1:54
Hollywood Studios it is about 10 15 so
1:58
hopefully we can get checked in and
1:59
through the gates into our ride by 11
2:02
o'clock a.m so we're gonna see
2:05
once we made it inside of the parks we
2:07
went straight on over to toy storyline
2:09
which has one of the most popular rides
2:11
at Hollywood Studios Slinky Dog Dash and
2:13
sometimes you can also catch an aircraft
2:15
above Toy Story Land crafting words in
2:18
the sky on the other side of Toy Story
2:20
Land is Galaxy Edge which is right where
2:22
we need it to be there you can find Star
2:24
Wars characters walking around and
2:25
interacting with the guests but we had
2:27
to get straight to Millennium Falcon
2:29
which is our first ride you have to be
2:31
40 inches tall to ride this roller
2:32
coaster but it's not quite a roller
2:34
coaster it's more so a ride or an
2:36
experience one that Noah actually did
2:39
not enjoy so much so we let him pick our
2:41
next ride which was of course alien
2:44
swirling saucers which is one of those
2:45
rights that kind of just spins around in
2:47
circles but he loves it so we like it as
2:49
well while we were in Toy Story Land we
2:52
took a lunch break and grabbed some food
2:54
from Woody's lunchbox there they have a
2:56
lot of toddler friendly foods and then
2:58
CJ and I were also able to find some
3:00
food that we enjoy but as you can see
3:02
Noah began to get Restless he was trying
3:04
to escape from his show earlier so we
3:06
just let him get out of the stroller and
3:08
kind of just walk around and stretch his
3:10
legs a little bit we bought him a bubble
3:12
blower thinking that that would keep him
3:14
a little bit entertained but he still
3:16
wanted to get out and walk around so we
3:17
let him do just that while CJ got in
3:19
line grabbed us some food and got us
3:22
some coffee over from Joffrey's coffee
3:23
stand as you can see Noah was pretty
3:25
excited for this next right the three of
3:27
us all enjoyed this one every time we go
3:30
and that is Mickey and Minnie's runaway
3:32
Railway we absolutely love this ride
3:35
it's probably our favorite at Disney
3:37
Hollywood Studios and it's one that you
3:40
can do with a toddler or a child of any
3:43
age you can even do this with your
3:45
little ones like your infants or your
3:46
babies because there is no height or age
3:49
requirement you just have to make sure
3:51
that you ride it with your little one
3:53
but it kind of just makes you feel like
3:55
you're right in the middle of this
3:56
animated series and you get on this
3:58
train and basically everything that is
4:00
supposed to go right kind of just goes
4:03
wrong I don't want to spoil it too much
4:04
even those things that you kind of just
4:06
have to enjoy for yourself but we really
4:08
enjoy this immersive and entertaining
4:11
ride this is actually probably my most
4:15
highly recommended ride at Hollywood
4:17
Studios and it never disappoints each
4:20
and every time so that ride was a lot of
4:22
fun but afterwards we went on over to
4:24
Disney Junior's play and dance party and
4:27
surprisingly no one enjoyed that a lot
4:29
he got a chance to be able to dance with
4:31
all of the characters and all the other
4:33
kids and we got a chance to kind of just
4:35
get out of the Heat and rest our feet so
4:37
that is always great back over in Star
4:40
Wars Galaxy Edge we went and wrote Star
4:42
Wars rise of the resistance you'd have
4:43
to be 40 inches tall to ride this roller
4:45
coaster and it can be a little bit
4:47
intense dark and thrilling but
4:49
surprisingly no one actually enjoyed it
4:51
just as much as CJ and I it's a really
4:53
great experience for Star Wars fans and
4:55
we were just happy to share that
4:56
experience with Noah this time around
5:01
thanks Mater
5:03
hello everyone wow what a great group of
5:06
rookie Racers you know I only figured
5:09
out how to be a great racer because I
5:11
had a great teacher doc
5:13
doc that's why I started this Racing
5:15
Academy another one of our favorites is
5:18
the Lightning McQueen Racing Academy
5:20
show and basically you just get front
5:22
row seats for a simulator race and of
5:25
course like any storyline there are a
5:27
few bumps in the road but Noah always
5:30
loves this and we love it as well and of
5:32
course it's always great to sit down in
5:34
the air conditioning and rest your feet
5:37
from the heat so this is another one of
5:39
those experience that we always do and
5:42
we always enjoy and I highly recommend
5:44
you do it with your little ones this is
5:46
for all ages you just sit down you enjoy
5:49
the show
5:50
okay so much
5:54
[Applause]
5:59
if you are traveling with someone who
6:01
loves the Disney Princesses I recommend
6:03
checking out Beauty and the Beast live
6:05
on stage and although Hollywood Studios
6:07
does not do fireworks they do have movie
6:09
spectaculars right on Tower of Terror
6:14
[Music]
6:19
I think it's a pretty cool way to end
6:22
the night Disney's Hollywood Studios was
6:24
so much fun for my family we love it
6:26
every time that we go and if you two are
6:29
planning a trip to Disney's Hollywood
6:30
Studios or any of the Disney parks then
6:32
I'm going to share a few of my takeaways
6:34
and a few of my tips that I think will
6:36
help make the trip a lot easier if
6:39
you're traveling with toddlers or little
6:40
ones my first tip is to have a game plan
6:44
before you even enter into the park have
6:46
a loose plan of the things that you want
6:48
to do the rides that you want to get on
6:49
some of your favorite foods and snacks
6:51
that you want to try and do a little bit
6:53
of research before you get there so that
6:55
you can know what's all available this
6:57
way everyone can stay on track and you
6:59
can make the most of your time in the
7:00
Parks my next tip is to try not to do
7:03
too much trying to do too much in one
7:06
day or in a small amount of time is
7:08
enough to make anybody crazy or
7:10
overwhelmed Hollywood Studios is a large
7:13
Park and there is plenty to see and
7:16
plenty to do but trying to do it all in
7:17
one day can make you exhausted and
7:19
frustrated pick a few things that you
7:21
really want to do put them at the top of
7:23
your list and try to focus on those
7:24
things and if you have more time
7:27
afterwards then use that time to just do
7:29
any of the extra things or just explore
7:31
the park and do as much more as you can
7:33
my next tip is one that we use every
7:36
time we go to the parks and that is the
7:38
genie plus system there is a free Genie
7:40
plus service there is also the paid
7:42
version and then there is the lightning
7:45
Lane the free version helps you to plan
7:47
out your dates and the paid version
7:49
helps you to bypass those long lines on
7:52
those hot summer days which is very
7:54
helpful if you're traveling with
7:55
toddlers and little ones who can become
7:57
overstimulated tired restless and bored
8:00
standing in those long lines and that
8:03
can also make you a little bit agitated
8:05
and frustrated if you're dealing with
8:07
all of that while standing in a long
8:09
line so if you're traveling with
8:10
toddlers or little ones I highly
8:12
recommend that you do utilize the genie
8:14
plus system the next tip is to plan out
8:16
your meals before you go to the parks
8:18
there's always going to be something
8:19
that you see and it looks or smells
8:21
delicious so you decide to stop and grab
8:23
something but within all of that fun
8:25
sometimes you can forget that you have
8:27
to stop and eat and trying to figure out
8:29
what you want at the last minute may or
8:32
may not be the best choice it can be fun
8:34
to kind of just make those decisions on
8:36
the spot but if you have little ones
8:38
you're going to want to pick a place
8:39
that has toddler friendly meals and it's
8:42
just so much more easier if you have
8:44
those places in mind before you get to
8:46
the parks so that you can do like a
8:48
mobile order so that you can know the
8:49
best time to go to those spots grab some
8:52
good seating and get a chance to
8:54
actually look at the menu before you get
8:56
there and if you're going to be making
8:58
dining reservations those reservations
9:00
go so fast and so you actually want to
9:04
plan to make those reservations 60 days
9:07
in advance once your dining reservation
9:10
window opens you can make those
9:12
reservations 60 days but no sooner in
9:15
advance to going to the parks and I
9:17
haven't recommend that you do it at that
9:19
60 day Mark if it is a restaurant that
9:21
you truly want to go to because if you
9:23
wait to the last minute you may not be
9:25
able to get a reservation for that
9:27
restaurant so I recommend that you plan
9:29
your meals in advance my next tip is to
9:31
dress comfortable we're all going to
9:34
want to wear our cutest most trendy
9:36
outfit to Disney's Hollywood Studios or
9:39
Disney World and you can do that but I
9:41
also recommend that you do that while
9:42
also staying comfortable because if
9:45
you're all cute and whatever you're
9:47
wearing is not comfortable it's not
9:48
going to be a fun time for you so make
9:50
sure that you dress for Comfort
9:52
Hollywood Studios is a hot and humid
9:54
place especially during the summer
9:56
months it also rains a lot during the
9:59
summer months so you're going to want to
10:01
make sure that you're dressing in
10:02
something light something comfortable
10:04
something that's going to work even if
10:06
it does rain and of course also dress
10:08
your little ones in comfortable and
10:10
light and cool clothing as well my next
10:13
tip is to use a stroller for as long as
10:15
you can if you're a toddler fencing that
10:17
strong color I recommend you take that
10:19
stroller even if they are a great Walker
10:22
because even as adults we get tired
10:25
inside of Disney World we're not going
10:27
to want to be on our feet all day long
10:30
and the little ones definitely won't
10:31
either it also is perfect for storage we
10:35
can always carry as much as we need
10:38
because we can always put it inside of
10:41
the stroller caddy under the bottom of
10:43
the caddy without worrying how we're
10:45
going to stuff everything in one of
10:47
those Disney's Lounge fly backpacks in
10:49
our experience whenever we go to the
10:51
parks our toddler also gets pretty
10:54
sleepy halfway through the day or by the
10:56
end of the night so we always take our
10:58
stroller that we can lean back so that
10:59
he can comfortably take a nap as opposed
11:01
to being uncomfortable sleepy cranky and
11:04
tired because again that's not going to
11:06
be any fun for anyone my next tip is to
11:09
bring along a few snacks and drinks that
11:11
you know your toddler is going to love
11:13
your toddler may or may not love the
11:16
options that they have in the park marks
11:18
and they're not always the most cost
11:20
friendly especially if you're traveling
11:22
with multiple children so having some
11:25
safe backups that you know they're going
11:27
to Love and Enjoy is just always a safer
11:30
option it's also a great idea to bring
11:32
your own water bottles because inside of
11:34
the Disney parks they use those papers
11:36
straws and sometimes they will serve up
11:38
drinks with no Lids which can become
11:41
very messy if you have a little one or a
11:43
toddler so having your own bottles and
11:46
bottles of water or liquid IVs and
11:48
Gatorades can not only save you monies
11:50
in the park but they can be a lot more
11:52
convenient if you're traveling with
11:53
little ones as well as giving them a
11:56
small snack if they're standing in line
11:57
and they begin to get hungry and you do
12:00
not want to get out of line for your
12:01
favorite ride so that you can run out
12:02
and grab your toddler a snack my next
12:05
tip is to take breaks often because just
12:08
like any Disney World Park Hollywood
12:10
Studios can become tiring walking back
12:13
and forth between the different
12:15
attractions in the different locations
12:17
inside of the park so even when you're
12:19
having a ton of fun don't forget to
12:21
schedule in just a few breaks sit down
12:23
rest your feet have a refreshment have a
12:26
snack and kind of just refresh because
12:29
it's going to help you out a lot taking
12:31
those small breaks here and there you
12:34
won't miss out on as much time as you
12:36
will if you decide not to take a break
12:38
and then by the end of the day you're so
12:39
tired that you can't even do anything
12:41
else so now you have to leave the park
12:43
early or spend the rest of your time in
12:45
the park sitting down somewhere we
12:47
always like to take tiny breaks but then
12:49
in the middle of the day schedule to sit
12:51
down and have lunch inside of the
12:53
restaurant because that helps us to rest
12:55
our feet for a nice period of time while
12:58
we can enjoy a meal without having to be
13:00
on the go while we eat it so definitely
13:03
take small breaks especially if you have
13:05
children that'll also give them time to
13:07
get out of their strollers and run
13:09
around a little bit to get a little bit
13:11
of that energy out and to just give
13:13
everybody a little bit of time to just
13:15
calm down mentally before they get get
13:17
back into that busy busy traffic and
13:20
that brings me to my next tip which is
13:22
to take advantage of the indoor
13:25
attractions and shows Disney's Hollywood
13:28
Studios offers a few different
13:30
attractions and shows that are indoors
13:33
not just the shows that you sit down and
13:36
watch such as the Lightning McQueen
13:38
Racing Academy show that I showed you
13:40
guys or the Beauty and the Beast live on
13:43
stage show which isn't actually indoors
13:45
but it's under a large awning with some
13:47
air but they also have a few rides that
13:51
are located indoors so that while you're
13:53
in the line or the queue you can get a
13:55
bit of air so I definitely recommend
13:57
that you take advantage of those
13:59
sit-down shows and attractions wisely my
14:02
last tip is to visit during the off-peak
14:04
season Hollywood Studios along with all
14:07
the other Disney parks are less chaotic
14:09
and less crowded during the off-peak
14:11
season this can make exploring the parks
14:13
much more easier and enjoyable
14:15
especially if you have a Butler some of
14:18
those Peak seasons are around the
14:21
holidays during the summer time when
14:23
kids are out of school during spring
14:25
break Christmas break Thanksgiving
14:28
breaks all those different types of
14:30
holidays breaks weekends and those
14:33
summer breaks when the children are out
14:35
of school are all peak season try to go
14:39
around off peak season for example say
14:42
February or January or even the end of
14:46
September these tend to be off peak
14:48
season and they're typically a little
14:50
less crowded of course there's still
14:53
going to be some crowd there and it's
14:55
still going to have its busy days but at
14:58
least it can just be a little more
15:00
enjoyable and a little bit easier to
15:02
navigate and explore the parks if you go
15:04
during those off peak Seasons so those
15:06
are just a few of my own takeaways and
15:09
some of the tips that we normally
15:10
utilize and follow when we're traveling
15:12
with our little one I hope that if you
15:14
two are planning a trip to any of the
15:16
Disney parks are just any amusement
15:19
parks in general but these tips you may
15:21
also find helpful as well if you enjoyed
15:24
this video or you found it helpful
15:26
please give it a thumbs up and don't
15:28
