For the past four years and counting, I've been consumed with being a mom. Each day, I wake up and put my best foot forward. Some days, I know I was made just for this, and other times, I just thank God for such an amazing role even when I have no idea what I am doing. Every day, I cherish and feel so blessed. Lately, I'm starting to have less and less in common with friends I grew up with. I find myself choosing play dates over going to the bar with friends and am constantly working on bettering myself for my family. I've learned that being a mom means being completely SELFLESS and for many young women, that's a hard pill to swallow. It doesn't mean you can't love yourself. It just means you have to share in every decision you make because there will always be someone watching and needing you.
