that i'm filming this video it's saturday again so it's just me and noah so we're gonna try to make a day out of

it i know i got a lot of things to do but all of these things that i'm going to be doing are going to make life so

much easier for me the rest of the week we are doing some meal planning some sensory box and of course i'm going to

be doing a little bit of organizing and cleaning around the house so that i don't have to do like any deep cleaning

throughout the week i don't have to touch any breakfast or lunch throughout the week that is always lovely i can

barely figure out what the heck i'm going to wear for the day so trying to figure out everything else i really don't need that so the purpose of this

first thing that i am making some coffee so while the coffee is growing i'm going to go ahead and show you guys really

quickly what i got from the store this time i spent about 265 on this grocery order and i didn't go too crazy because

except for the past two weeks and baby shark has been driving me absolutely insane i thought that we skipped the whole baby shark obsession that these

kids have but no he discovered baby shark and we have been here in baby shark for the past two weeks and i

cannot wait for him to watch something besides baby shark i kind of just let noah do his thing on

the weekends especially on saturdays because on sundays we get up and he has to go to church with us he does like sunday school on sundays and then

afterwards we take him out to like an indoor playground or like one of those trampoline jump places and kind of just

get him out somewhere after church that's kind of how we spend time like as a family and doing a few things that

we'll all enjoy together so sunday that's like our family day we do church and then we do like a little outing but

throughout the week we have our home school every single day and noah does absolutely exceptional in home school

you guys we go anywhere from like two to four hours just without any breaks and he does absolutely amazing and then

after that he plays with his puzzles he gets in some pretend play and so on the weekends or specifically on saturdays i

kind of just let him do this thing if he wants to watch his television shows he watches his television shows and that kind of just works let me show you guys

what i've got i got a lot of stuff here so i'm gonna try to go really really quickly more ketchup

farmer's market roasted garlic spaghetti sauce with the spaghetti sauce that i got from audi's last time i hated it so

we're not going back to whatever brand that was i think it was like priano we're not doing piano anymore but i did get some pregos farmers market roasted

garlic and then i also got the original pregos italian sausage and garlic because again i love spaghetti so

spaghetti noodles here and then i wanted to try the whole grain one because it has more fiber in it and my doctor said

i need a little more fiber in my diet and then i went with just the regular spaghetti pasta i gotta know some 100

for taco night and he also likes like these flavored taco shells so that's

where we have our taco tuesday and we're going to be going to spend the night with my mom and my sister on saturday

before our trip so that she can take us to the airport because we've got to be there right around like 5 30 in the morning so instead of like waking her up

at three in the morning so that she could drive 45 minutes to come pick us up and then another hour to get us to the airport we thought it would be fun

to just kind of go to her house make a sleepover leave our car parked there and i made gumbo in one of the last videos

but this is like my family's like one of their favorite meals that i make cj loves when i make gumball and my mom she's like please make gumbo so i'm

gonna make gumbo for my mom and my sister when we get there so i got like a huge thing guys like smoked sausages

noah loves corn on the cob and unfortunately our corn in the garden is not ready for harvest yet so i had to buy him some more corn on the cob and

then these are yam patties they're like sweet potatoes that's chopped up into small little patties and then we kind of

just season these with a little bit of cinnamon and those are great for meal prepping because they're already chopped up and

to be honest i prefer to chop them up myself but this is what we got so you know how to make it quick here i got some chicken breast tenderloins for the

gumbo and then i got some regular chicken breasts so that i can meal prep these cj loves when i make these and i

just make a bed of rice and vegetables and you can put one chicken breast in each you know container with some rice and some um vegetables for chicken wings

because i always buy chicken wings i love to just throw these in the oven and grill them and then here for the bread

i've just got this variety of banana and blueberry muffins from the bakery i don't always eat breakfast in the morning but if i just like have a cup of

coffee and just grab one of these then i'm at least you know eating something and it's quick and easy i don't know i'm just not a breakfast person like if you

out of the bed this morning i wanted my groceries to be here when i woke up today but i didn't want to pull him out of the bed to go get it so

pasta in it but it also has like the protein in it so i think you'll like that because of like the tuna and the eggs having the

protein that he needed i'll be completely fine with them just eating the pasta and then like pancakes the same as well the kodiak brand has

protein in it it's like small enough where he doesn't need like a fork to be able to eat his pancakes like you want

to eat this and grab it and go for breakfast i'm completely okay with that same thing with like the spinach and egg

breakfast or lunch any more like that is one thing that i don't have to worry about once i clean up my house after dinner at night i don't have to mess it

this is our even flow we pulled the stroller out we haven't put noah in the stroller in

a while like it's definitely been at least a year and a half like probably longer so we only just pulled it out so

that we can take it with us on the trip to the disney parks so this is the same

stroller that my grandmother purchased as a set with the car seat and the set

was like 400 and we've had this since i was pregnant with noah and it is holding up i love

that like covers his head it also comes with like a little thing that you kind of like snap

we're gonna take this one with us to florida and it's got like a nice amount of space down there we could probably

this tall i wanted to get one that's a little bit bigger so that he can kind of like drive his trucks through it because

that's what he likes doing the most so i ordered another 50 pound of play sand from home depot and it only cost four

dollars and 27 cents so once i get the notification telling me that that's ready to pick up i'm gonna go pick that

up and to be honest like i'm kind of tired and there's a lot of things like that i gotta get done so if i can like avoid like having to go and take noah

inside the store to pick up that sand like that's a lot more to me productive because i can fold up

my laundry and like prepare dinner and work out while i'm just waiting for that

notification and once it's ready we can just get in the car it's five minutes away and then they'll kind of put it in the trunk for me so i am in noah's room

and i'm gonna go ahead and fold up you're in no one's room too yeah say we're in noah's room

yeah we're in noah's room so we're gonna phone up his laundry and once i'm done folding up noah's clothes then i can

to like get to know me a little bit more um i want to say like the most important thing to me on this vlog journey

is kind of just being like a little unfiltered or not necessarily unfiltered but like realistic i think it's

important that even when i'm feeling like those informative videos like sharing like all of my tips and

strategies that i kind of just want to share with other moms and parents because you know we've all you know got

our own like tips and strategies and have found what's worked for us so you never know when like something that has

other but within all of that i also think it's really important that we kind of just

all of like the stress and sometimes like the unpredictability of it and even those days we're kind of like

we're having a hard time so my goal with this vlog is to not only

just share like whatever type of like information that i found that has helped me through motherhood but to also kind

of just like share relatable content i had noah when i was i believe 25 years old i got pregnant with him when i was

24 and then i saw him when i was 25 and i know other moms my age and i knew

other moms my age before i had noah but even still i struggled to find

moms that i can relate to because like we're all different and we're all parents in different ways but

what i really love about the youtube space is that like there are so many different types of

vloggers and different type of mom vlogs out there that

you can kind of find one that you relate to and whenever you feel like you can't necessarily relate to someone or

whenever you feel like someone doesn't quite get you it can kind of feel lonely and i don't think motherhood was meant

to be or feel lonely so you know i think that it's kind of important sometimes to

find that person that you can kind of relate to the person who like understands you that goes through the same struggle and like even like the

highs you know the good things that are happening and the things that we love about motherhood

you know like you ever had a conversation with like another person who's not a mom and like all of the

things that you find interesting and all the things that you want to talk about like they don't care to hear about it or

even talk about it because that's just not you know their season at the moment so to be you know able to find other

people that you can relate to even if it is like online with the youtube space i think that it's you know a good thing i

think that that's one thing that i absolutely love about youtube is that you can kind of just connect with other people who you kind of can relate to and

have things in common with and just like share like the good things share the bad

things um share like any type of tips and information that you have to give because i feel like we all have

something that we can give so why keep it to ourselves you know it may be able to help somebody else and every video

that you know i make may not be for you or for the next person but maybe it

might be for someone right so if you can share it you know if it may help

somebody why not so that's kind of why i started this vlog to kind of just like share my journey through motherhood

because that is who i did i never really thought about what motherhood would be like before i had

noah like i didn't plan it out and like it just kind of wasn't on my mind because it kind of just happened um

obviously you know we we wanted to have children we just didn't like necessarily planning

so um i still love the timing like i'm glad that we had no we did

but after we had him i kind of kept trying to remember what it felt like

before i kept like looking for the me that i was before i had him like i kept trying

to get back to that person and whenever i didn't feel like that person i would kind of get down into like this bad and

sad move because i felt like i couldn't recognize myself anymore i couldn't recognize my body like i couldn't do the same things that

i used to do and so i kept for the longest looking for that person that i was before i had him but it wasn't until

like i realized like it's not that i'm another person but life is just gonna look

different now but it's just about finding grace in the current season that you are in

be the person who you are at that moment don't try to be somebody else don't try to be the old you don't try to be like

another mom that you know or see just be yourself and do what you can and you know find what works for you find what

makes you happy and so once i like accepted like that it's not like an old me it's not like a new me it's like i'm

just me and whatever season i'm in and whatever my current situation is like

i'm just me like there's no such thing as like the old me the new me the future me it's like i'm just me so

just be yourself like stop searching for a certain type of you always have a goal have

something to strive towards you know and you can always do something to you know improve you know yourself but

to kind of just like say like okay i'm gonna try to be a different person it's

like what is a different person besides just being yourself so i had to kind of just accept who i was

when i was so if that's you like if you're a new mom or like if you've even been a mom for a

while you're like struggling to find yourself and struggling to accept like who you are then i just want you to kind

of just try to just be yourself like don't search for anything not the old you not

the new you like not another one just be yourself and just love who you

are you know i want to try to like share whatever type of motivation that i can that i have to give when i have to give

it you know share like some relatable content that people can maybe relate to

because there have been times where i couldn't find anybody like aside from that like aside from

motherhood and being a wife so run a business i have an online store for the

sell apparent skincare products and so that's something that i do [Music]

in my spare time to kind of generate more income from my family i recently graduated from college like i have a lot

of different things i have insight on like how to start and run your own business if you're into e-commerce i

have some insight on like going to school and graduating um like in the legal field

and then i just have like insight on like just and like being a wife so i definitely don't know

everything like i don't have it all together but what i do know and what i can't share i think it's important that

i do and i hope that you know one day he can when he has his own children look back at these videos and kind of like

and i don't want to be like the exception i love it here obviously you know we have our ups and downs but i

think it really doesn't matter because sometimes you're not going to be able to give 100 sometimes a marriage is not always going to be 50 50. sometimes your

marriage is going to be like 70 30 90 10 50 50 and sometimes you're both going to

be putting your best foot forward and giving it 100 all you've got and so like what i can say is that our highs are

much better than our lows and our lows are never to the point where we can't recover from them and we can't learn from them so that's the most important

part is that whenever you have a disagreement because we're not the exact same person we're not going to agree on everything as long as you can

communicate in a healthy way and learn from it then i think you know that that's good enough so
